Assistant Project Coordinator
Currently a UConn student majoring in psychology, Bharath Premlal joined ConnectiCOSH due to a great interest in occupational health and safety that he had fostered over the years. Bharath originally interned with ConnectiCOSH for six months, before eventually joining the staff. During his internship, Bharath researched the effects of the law on chemical usage in Connecticut companies and presented his findings during the program “Taking it to the Grave: Victims of Occupational Disease In Connecticut.” At ConnectiCOSH, Bharath assists with managing the group’s website, social media accounts, and various projects as well as communication between the staff.
