Pamela was originally hired to coordinate the Injured Worker Project in 2007 and continues to assist injured workers with understanding their rights and responsibilities under Connecticut’s Workers’ Compensation Act. She also is the coordinator for ConnectiCOSH’s work with the Coalition for a Safe and Healthy Connecticut. Pamela’s duties include grant management as well as the outreach and coordination of targeted topic trainings for young workers, minority workers, workers with limited English proficiency and other hard to reach workers. She assists in the writing of the grants which allow for these trainings, collaborates with other worker safety-based organizations to develop appropriate training curriculum and assists in delivering those trainings. Pamela has a BA in Psychology from Connecticut College and is a certified Facilitated Equine Experiential (FEEL) Practitioner. She lives on a small farm with her husband, dog, horses and chickens and enjoys gardening and spending quality time with her animals and adult children when they visit.
